Tibial Locking Mechanism
Initiated weekly intern meetings to conduct competitive literature review and modify existing tibial insert design. Developed new design concept that resulted in a $6,300 per unit saving. The design was prototyped using NX11 and SLA printer.
Stem Inserter
Designed and prototyped a customizable stem inserter for orthopedic surgeons to improve the efficiency of hip replacement surgery. The CAD model was generated using NX 11 and the metal prototype was 3D printed using an EBM printer.
