Product design internship at Cummins working on the air handling team of high horsepower engines.

Challenge

The 78L turbo plumbing had an interference with the exhaust gas temperature sensor that could lead to a potential warranty issue.

Solution

Conducted root-cause analysis and participated in C&E discussions. Generated concepts using Creo, prototyped bracket designs with SLA printer, and performed engine fit checks to resolve the interference issue.
