Futuristic motorcycle helmet concept designed using PTC Creo and animated using Adobe 3DS Max.
Project Overview
Final project for E128 - Advanced Engineering Design Graphics at UC Berkeley. This helmet concept includes a head-up display (HUD), wind charging via turbines, detachable wiper, bone conducting resonance audio device, motorized shield, LED shell lights, backup camera, and swing open jaws.
Design Process
The first step was to design over 320 distinctive parts using PTC Creo and create the sub-assemblies. Then, the files were imported into 3DS Max to animate the movements and exploded views. Finally, the storyline was defined and the video was edited using After Effects and Premiere.
